Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu Temple, or Pura Luhur Uluwatu, is the landmark of Uluwatu, mostly renowned for its magnificent location on the top of a high cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean. It is one of nine key directional temples believed to be Bali’s spiritual pillars.

Uluwatu is one of the best place in Bali to see sunset, it is featured by a small dry forest which is mostly called by Alas Kekeran (interdict forest) which is belong to the temple and dwelt by a lot of monkeys and other animal. Uluwatu temple is one of those places that makes you understand why this island is so mystical. See the Kecak dancing at sunset. Beautiful, serene and picturesque views and the dancing is entrancing.
