Tanjung Benoa attractions lies in two things, namely; the beauty of Tanjung Benoa beach, which has white sand with calm waves and Bali water sports activities. Because it has waves that are not too big, making Tanjung Benoa beach very suitable for marine tourism activities.. Tanjung Benoa is a paradise for water rides such as banana boat, scuba diving, parasailing, rolling donut, seawalker, flying fish, snorkeling etc. So it is not wrong if Tanjung Benoa is known as a marine tourism center in Bali.
Rising from the rugged hills of Bali’s Bukit Peninsula, the magnificent Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue stands watch over the island. The towering statue is Bali’s most iconic landmark and depicts the Hindu God Wisnu, atop his mount, the mythical eagle, Garuda. Soaring to a height of over 120 meters, this is one of the tallest monumental statues in the world, higher than both the Statue of Liberty and Christ the Redeemer. The statue makes a stunning central feature of GWK Cultural Park, a fascinating 60 hectare cultural park that draws visitors from around the globe and provides a tantalizing glimpse into Bali’s fascinating heritage through intriguing cultural performances, legendary folklore tales, immense sculptures and dramatic cinematic presentation. Enjoy panoramic island views as you explore the park on foot or by Segway. Indulge in Indonesian heritage cuisine, immerse yourself in a land steeped in mythology, or plan your next big event in one of GWK’s epic venues.
Padang Padang Beach is a small sandy bay where you can sunbathe and relax. It is an easy walk down the road where you will meet a lot of monkeys. People/surfers were gathering and a group of cars were parked on the streets so we decided to explore it. The entrance to the beach was like a cave – it was like a secret beach. The sand was good. Nice place to chill out! Make sure to wear sunscreen for protection since there was no shade once you’re on the beach
Very beautiful and scenic view! You will fall in love in this place no matter how many times you go here. You can either choose to enjoy the sunset by Uluwatu Temple, or enjoy the sunset by watching their Kecak dance. Both is an unique experience by itself. The Balinese Hindu sea temple is located on a hill top and one walks through a beautiful landscape overlooking the waves of the Indian Ocean. The Spectacular views would leave anyone awe struck. Ulu means the ‘top’ or the ‘tip’ and watu is ‘stone’ or ‘rock’ in Balinese.
Perched on the cliff top high above the stunning and violent sea below, the Uluwatu Temple arena hosts this fantastic show of local dancing and singing. The views from the cliffs are spectacular and the purpose-built venue for the Kecak dance is well laid out to take advantage of the sunset. Magnificent performance with beautiful view of sunset. Kecak dance is a Balinese dance usually performed by men. Also known as Ramayana Monkey Chant, the piece, performed by a circle of 150 or more performers wearing checked cloth around their waists, percussively chanting “cak” and throwing up their arms, depicts a battle from the Ramayana where the monkey-like Vanara helped Prince Rama fight the evil King Ravana. Its a miracle and magical show which must visit when visiting Bali.
